The science behind naturopathy is heavily covered throughout the degree, with extensive research and referencing used to support my clinical judgement.

Yes, I am. I am a certified naturopath and herbalist and am registered and insured under ANTA (Australian Natural Therapies Association).

No, and please don’t! In fact, all of my patients still see their GP! Our work together complements any and all healthcare you may be receiving from other practitioners, including your GP. I work collaboratively and in conjunction with your existing healthcare team to keep you healthy, happy and safe.

You can find me in the clinic space upstairs at Sunnybrook Health Store in Ormond, South East Melbourne. I also consult online across telehealth platforms.

Pricing is available upon booking, so you can confidently choose the consultation that best suits your needs. The cost of your appointment also covers the time I spend outside of your consultation researching, preparing and finalising your treatment plan.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, as everyone’s body is different. Factors like metabolism, genetics, sensitivity, health history, current medication and even your starting point can influence how quickly you notice changes. In our consultation I will be as honest as I can about what you might expect, but this isn’t always something I can predict.

Yes! Naturopathy is now covered by select private health funds in Australia, as of April 2026. If you’re insured by a provider under the CBHS group or ARHG network, you are covered. If you’re not insured by these health funds, you’ll need to confirm naturopathy coverage and rebates with your individual provider, as this is ultimately at their discretion.

Yes of course you can! Taking prescription medication does not mean you can’t see me – it just means that interactions with certain herbs and nutrients may arise. You will have an opportunity to tell me this information on the discovery call and/or on your intake form, before your first consultation. With the information you provide, I run multiple interaction and safety checks using certified medical software, so there’s absolutely no need for you to worry!

Naturopaths look at blood tests from a functional perspective and focus on optimal results; rather than just checking whether the marker falls within the standard reference range – that’s a big difference! I am not a nutritionist (yet!) but yes, naturopaths are similar. Our degree includes majority of the subjects that are part of the nutrition degree (minus a few); making us qualified to prescribe nutrition plans, dietary recommendations and nutritional supplements, but not certified to call ourselves and consult as a nutritionist.
